Who are DJ Products?
DJ Products is a family owned manufacturer in Little Falls, Minnesota that has built battery powered movers since 1997. Everything they make does one job. It takes a heavy wheeled thing and moves it horizontally so one person can do work that used to need a crew or a truck.
They do not sell from stock. Every machine is built to order around the load it has to move, which is why nothing on this page carries a shelf price. You tell us the weight, the surface and the incline, and a DJ Products sales engineer specifies the drive package and the attachment before anything is welded.

CartCaddy cart movers and tugs
The CartCaddy line is the core of the range and the reason most people arrive here. A cart caddy hooks to the side of a wheeled cart in seconds, so you never fit tow arms across a mixed fleet. The CartCaddyLite handles 1,000 lb, the Shorty turns in tight aisles at 3,000 lb, the CartCaddy5W moves 7,000 lb or 10,000 lb with the high output package, and the CartCaddyHD ChainDrive takes equipment up to 50,000 lb with a hydraulic lift that puts weight over the drive tires. WasteCaddy dumpster movers
The waste caddy line moves loaded dumpsters and roll off containers, from 2,000 lb bins on the Lite up to 50,000 lb compactors on the RollOffCaddy. A bracket fits each container and one machine services the whole property. The full range sits under dumpster movers.
AircraftCaddy hangar tugs

TrailerCaddy trailer movers and yard trucks
Eleven machines for trailer work, from a 2,500 lb powered dolly up to a terminal tractor that spots semi trailers at 100,000 lb with no CDL required. They sit with our electric trailer dollies.
PartsCaddy and WagonCaddy platform carts

Why DJ Products machines are quoted, not priced
Every unit is configured before it is built. The attachment that meets your cart, dumpster or nose gear is custom, the drive package is chosen from your load and your incline, and the battery system is sized to your shift. Two customers buying the same model number can end up with genuinely different machines.
That is a real advantage when your load is unusual and a small inconvenience when you just want a number. Tell us what you move and we will send a written quote with the build time on it. DJ Products asks buyers to allow 3 to 6 weeks for production.
What DJ Products competes with
In our range the closest comparison is Pony Express by EK Tech, which we stock with published prices and shorter lead times. Pony Express is the better answer when a standard walk behind tugger in a common capacity band does the job. DJ Products is the better answer when the load is odd, the attachment has to be custom, or the weight is far outside normal tugger territory, such as a 50,000 lb machine base or a 100,000 lb trailer.

Safety and compliance
These are pedestrian operated machines rather than powered industrial trucks in the forklift sense, but facilities running them still sit inside the same safety picture. OSHA covers powered industrial trucks under 29 CFR 1910.178, and the NIOSH ergonomic guidelines for manual material handling set out the push and pull limits these machines exist to stay under.
